CLUB INVENTORY
- Maintained used bowls and bags for sale
- Maintained inventory of club bowls
- Maintained club hospitality supplies
- Continued club keys program with $10 deposit (went from 21 to 34 key holders during 2012)
CLUB STORE
- Maintained Club Store
- Continued sales of Club Polo shirts for sale
- Maintained stock: Grippo, Sleeves, Chalk, Belts, Measures
- Added inventory of Club emblems/patches
- Added inventory of 100 Club Pins
- Added inventory of USLBA Rule Books
- Developed and Sold Club Shutterfly Calendars
EQUIPMENT
- Printed 303 Additional Tournament Score Cards
- Maintained the Club Bowls Cleaning Kit (polish, grippo, sleave, applicators)
- Purchased soft beverage icing bucket
- Purchased plastic bins for hospitality supplies
- Purchased 3 additional bowls baskets
PUBLICITY, PUBLICATIONS, COMMUNICATIONS, COMMUNITY RELATIONS
- Updated, revised and maintained coronadolawnbowling.com
- Maintained Coronado Lawn Bowling Facebook page
- Maintained a submission of Club Games to Community Calendar in Eagle Journal
- Submitted 13 Articles to Eagle Journal (including one Editorial)
- Created and maintained photo albums (into 4th album)
- Maintained the new Club outdoor Bulletin Board
- Hosted evening twilight bowling in May through August (Total of 331 participants)
- Submitted stories and event information to E Coronado
- Printed 300 additional Pocket Guides
- Purchased 300 Club Labels
- Purchased and displayed a Twilight Open Bowling Banner
- Received and distributed SW LBA generic brochures
MEMBERSHIP
- Began with 70 renewal members in January & finished with 91 members for 2012
- Paid Coronado Senior Center Dues for all club members
- Paid City of Coronado contribution for all members
- Updated spreadsheet and paid Southwest dues for all members
- Conducted Free Lesson Program based on call ins
- Distributed new member packets
WORK WITH PARKS AND RECREATION AND PARKS SERVICES
- Received our outside covered bulletin board
- Renewed permission to serve alcoholic beverages at club social functions
- City added new bench from private donor
- City provided a banner to use on fence or parade walking
- City provided a Free Lesson permanent sign for the fence
- City repaired and fueled blowers and adjusted sprinklers upon request
- Provided retirement gift for Ricky Fernandez who oversaw maintenance around the green for the City
- City purchased 3additional sets of Club Bowls
EVENTS & COMPETITION
- Held 8 Club Tournaments (December postponed to January)
- Established Southern League team members & hosted League play three times
- Developed and Maintained a Winning Points Program for Draw Play Games
- Hosted SDLBC Visitation & participated in visitation to SDLBC
- Had second CLBC entry in 4th of July parade
- Hosted a Drills Training with a certified Australian Coach
- Hosted 2 private events
- Hosted the Second Rotary v Optimists Event
- Held Memorial Day Tournament and Picnic Potluck Lunch
- Hosted Second Annual Coronado Mixed Triples Tournament under SWLBA
- Labor Day All Day Bowling and Potluck
- Halloween Potluck, Bowling and Costume Contest
- Hosted Cocktail Party for the National Championships at Balboa Park
- Annual General Membership Meeting and Wrong Bias Box Party
EDUCATION
- Conducted Middle School classes (Winter 2011 & Winter 2012)
- Provided Spring and Fall Adult School Class
- Hosted 12 first through 5th grade students participating in a special introduction to sports program
GREEN MAINTENANCE
- Maintained the Green Maintenance Binder with Maintenance Log
- Maintained the Green Use Calendar Log
- Logged 25 person hours (@ 23 person days) of Green maintenance work
- Had 12 Club Clean Up Days
- Purchased copper sulfate to use on Green damage
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
- Had a full newly elected Board for 2012
- Held 10 Board Meetings (no September or December Board Meeting)
- Developed an 12-Month Activities Calendar (January 2013-December 2013) for 2013
- Printed the 2013 Calendar
- Modified Club Rules regarding Tournament dress
- Paid Insurance Premium
MISCELLANEOUS
- Assisted in the Senior Center Renovation project process
- Hosted Newport Beach for informal visitation
- Recorded winners of Super Shots Club (25 this year)
