CLUB DRAW GAMES

clb

Tuesdays                   9:00AM

Thursdays                 9:00AM

Saturdays                  9:00AM

The games on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays are exclusively Club Draw Games of 14 ends.  All members present desiring to bowl will bowl in such games and their bowling teammates will be selected by draw.  White clothing shall be worn on those days.  Members shall not arrange and play in a set up game of their choice during the time of the Draw Game, but a member may practice by herself or himself.  All members are eligible to play in such games.

White clothing is favored, but not required for the games on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  Games on those days will be 14 ends by draw among those wishing to be included in such draw games, but members are free to arrange a set-up game in which they select who their bowling teammates and opponents shall be for that game and the number of ends that will be played.  It is recognized that some players may desire to play in a much shorter game than 14 ends.

A Draw Game of 14 ends takes approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.  If you are not prepared to play that long you should not enter the Draw Game because leaving early is not fair to those who have come to play the 14 ends.  Nevertheless, in the case of injury, exhaustion or emergency a player can of course withdraw from the game, but should make an effort to have a substitute finish the game in his or her place if available.

The John D. Spreckels Bowling Green is open to Members 7 days a week. Members may  access and play on the Green  if they have been issued an access key fob for the Gate Entrance and the Storage Rooms. The Green Room and Restrooms will be accessible with special arrangement of one of the  Members or Instructors who have been issued a key fob with that accessibility and who have been trained to operate the alarm system.

The CLBC has Green Room Access on Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays from 8 am to 1:30 pm.  Access on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays is by advanced arrangement.

Any member may practice or arrange and play in a set-up game during any and all of the times that Club Draw games are not being played.
